The improvement of watches' ability to withstand water and submersion in the 1950s provided them with new capabilities and expanded their potential uses for watches.
In the 1960s and 1970s, when the designers of the best diving watches need a rubber strap, they went for ISOfrane.
The ISOfrane design is really comfortable and features big ventilation slits so that water can drain away while also allowing the skin to breathe.
